Jack Roberson is a life long resident of Bledsoe Co.  He graduated from Bledsoe Co. High in 1973 and went on to obtain his bachelor's degree from UTC, followed by a master's degree in special education from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville.  A total of 28 years has been spent in the Bledsoe County School System working at Pikeville Elementary, Bledsoe Middle, and at the Board office as an attendance supervisor. His main focus and passion has been working with children with special needs. He has been married for 38 years to Kathy, they have 2 children, Josh and Melissa, son-in-law Nick, and 2 grandchildren Nolen and Luke. Jack is a member of First Southern Baptist, the local Masonic Lodge Alhambra Shrine, Scottish Rites, and has a private pilots license.  Jack  was chosen as educator of the year in 2002-2003 and he has been chosen as educator of the year for 2018-2019. He would like to thank all who have supported his programs over the years, and he accepts this award on behalf of his fellow teachers and the staff at Bledsoe Middle School.
