I am from Sequatchie County. I lived and grew up there with my entire family. Following, high school, I attended Tennessee Technological University, on a full athletic scholarship in softball, August 1999-December 2003. While playing softball all four years, I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Later in life, I chose to return to college to chase my dreams of becoming an educator. From 2008-2011, I attended Western Governor's University. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. Determined to better myself and the students' whom I impact daily, I returned to school for a third time. While attending Bethel University from 2011-2013. I received a Master's of Education in Teaching Excellence. I have been a teacher at Bledsoe County Middle School for 10 years. I have taught many different subjects/courses; however, Reading Language Arts is my expertise.
Currently, I am BCMS' Response To Instruction and Intervention (RTI2) Reading Interventionist, Girls' Basketball Head Coach, and Boys' Basketball Assistant Coach.

I love my job! I look forward to working with students each and every day. I strive to positively impact their lives both academically and personally. My goal is to educate, support, help and guide each and every student toward becoming the best version of themselves they can be.
