BCMS Welcomes New Math Teacher Amy Owens
Amy Owens recently graduated from Tennessee Technological University. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle School Math and is looking forward to working with all the students at Bledsoe County Middle School this year. Bledsoe County is her hometown and she wanted to return to the school system that allowed her to thrive and grow.
Mrs. Owens is excited about building relationships with her students and working with them as they progress in their education. She decided to become a teacher because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of young adults, like her teachers did for her. Bledsoe County schools have helped her reach her goals and now she wants to help others in reaching theirs. She loves math because it is used throughout every aspect of life and she can’t want to show this to her students. Amy is here to serve her both her students and community and comes highly recommended by her mentoring teachers. If you are interested in participating in an honors math class please contact Mrs. Owens at amyowens@bledsoecountyschools.org
